The Cessna 152 is a is a multipurpose civil aircraft for flight training, touring and and personal flights manufactured by Cessna.

In 1997, the first Cessna 152 was delivered.  The Cessna 152 is a modernization and developement of the proven Cessna 150 design and was intended to compete with the new Beechcraft Skipper and Piper Tomahawk.  All Cessna 152s manufactured are equipped with a Lycoming O-235 engine.  The Cessna 152 has a crew of 1.  It has a maximum speed of 126 mph and a range of 477 mi.  The Cessna 152 was produced in several different versions in its eighth year of production.  There was also an aerobatic version of the Cessna 152.  There were 7,584 Cessna 152's built.
